  • No, the checklist / SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is a comprehensive list of things you need to check off in order to not miss a step when building a Shopify store. We do include tips, where to find certain things, and relevant references to make it as helpful as possible, but it is not a course.

  • While originally created for designers, the Launch Kit is great for store owners too.

    If you’re not hiring someone to build your store, this is the next best thing. The comprehensive checklist will walk you through the steps needed to build a store, start to finish. It is full of tips and links to guides as there are a lot of moving parts with Shopify.

    The forms ask all the questions a designer would ask you, so that you can think about your goals, the elements you'd like to include in your store, and make sure you have all the pieces you need to create your store.

  • Notion is an all-in-one workspace for note-taking, data management, and project and task management. We use it on a daily basis for both and are sure you will too!

    You are not required to have a Notion account in order to use the forms. You can access the forms without a Notion account and paste it into your preferred tool. Please contact us if you need help with this.

Extremely Comprehensive!

I’m was starting a new Shopify project that I felt very unprepared for, and decided to purchase this launch kit based on previous reviews and a blog post that was so informative. I trusted that Luna Templates would help make my project a success. The Notion checklist of what my client needed to provide was IMMACULATE as well as the detailed questions about shipping, taxes, etc. SO GOOD! The only thing I thought was lacking was the website strategy portion. For my branding projects, I go pretty in depth with strategy and that helps guide the website strategy as well. My only critique is to make sure the website strategy portion is equally as detailed as the rest of the launch kit. I ended up incorporating my brand strategy and tweaking it with some questions that y’all had to create something to my liking, but all in all it was a great purchase!!!

Hi,
I really like your sections that you build, but this launch kit really got promoted badly, I expected it to be so much more then what can be found here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/intro-to-shopify/initial-setup/new-to-shopify-checklists/general-checklist
Also the need to use additional tools to actually use your product, it was so time consuming to see what I actually purchased and now I don't even use this.
I reached out on the same day that I bought this that I wasn't happy, but have yet received a reply, hence my poor rating.

Apologies that we could not find your original message, we always aim to reply to customers within 48 hrs.

Shopify's checklist is curated for merchants, whereas ours is for designers. We include double the amount of checkpoints (which have very little overlap with Shopify's points), as well as many tips and resources. So we wouldn’t say that it’s a fair comparison. In addition, we include 3 client intake forms.

Just to clarify, you do not require additional tools in order to use the product. You can copy it into any other tool you prefer. We have made this info more prominent, as we never want to mislead our customers.

Awesome for streamlining processes and better scoping!
